Mastering WordPress Management: A Comprehensive Guide to WP-CLI Commands
I've yet to use wp-cli
myself as I don't have many WordPress sites to manage. However, I can see where it can be a powerful tool for specific, time-consuming tasks.

How to Choose the Right Database App Builder
As developers, we all know just what goes into building a site or application.
A lot.
And that's an understatement.
User logins, permissions, different pages, data retrieval, and storage. It goes on.
And while I haven't used Five (yet - shame on me), they are creating some interesting means to an end in app building. In particular, with MySQL.

Can you Really build a WordPress Plugin with AI?
I think you can (get started at least). But, I think the more important question is, should you?
I've had such a mixed bag of results with AI. But, I'm happy to try and utilize it where I can.
The author here brings good points that it isn't without its flaws or downsides which I like and respect.
The Insert Benchmark: MariaDB, MySQL, small server, cached workload
Here is a good account of a very controlled test (cached database and low concurrency) for MariaDB and MySQL INSERT
benchmarks.
Several versions of each RDBMS were tested. Some of the results are surprising but that's not to say that both of these database vendors aren't equally viable in their own right.
As both MariaDB and MySQL have evolved into separate and independent database systems (at one time, MariaDB was a drop-in replacement for MySQL) some configuration settings and performance tweaks were not equally applicable to both systems as is mentioned too.

Two Orders at the same time (can) lead to a empty and a "merged" order #25623
While this is an old(er) Github issue (from the best I could tell - it is dated 2020), it may still be a potential problem.
Maybe this is a (type of) race condition? (Please correct me if I'm wrong)
It could be rare and would take crackerjack timing (as Jack Burton says), but is possible and therefore worth sharing here IMO.

Developer Advisory: WooCommerce 8.8.1 – potential conflict with old Action Scheduler versions (April 15th, 2024)
At the time of the source article's publication, WooCommerce 8.8 was set as the stable version. Briefly.
Then some issues were discovered causing some site's wp-admin to break. Having to do with older versions of Action Scheduler. Hopefully (maybe?) by the time this newsletter is published, those bugs will have been fixed.
Update: WooCommerce 8.8 released.
