I honestly don't know of another ecosystem with such a sheer volume of choices of use, and specializations. So many that it can be downright confusing (or to the extreme - crippling) at times.
I'm often afraid I'll never keep up if I want to 'go somewhere' with WordPress (perhaps that's another topic for another day).
Page builders, Full Site Editing (FSE), blogging, designing, SEO, content writing, marketing, email, website maintenance, the list goes on; infinite.
You can seemingly 'plant your flag' in one or more of these areas within WordPress and drill down into it forever.
Enough of my rambling.
Here are 5 WordPress resources you might not know about and are some of my favorites (at the time of publication).
The WP Minute
I've been digging The WP Minute since I first learned about it and subscribed. The WP Minute reports the type of content in the WordPress space that I wish I could report (in the same style) for the LAMP stack and PHP ecosystem in the OpenLampTech publication.
This newsletter and site are where you are going to find out about all the information circulating in WordPress.
The WP Minute is your WordPress news in a sense. Community journalism as it dubs itself.
There is an accompanying Podcast version as well.
From what is going on over at Automatic, to plugin acquisition and everything in between, the WP Minute has it covered.
There are often deep-dive articles published as well by contributors.

WPMUDEV
They may not tout it, but I look at WPMUDEV as the freelancer or agency's 'den'. Although I've not (yet) used any of their products, they share a lot of content around their tooling and plugins that I enjoy reading and learning about.
One such product is the Hub, which allows you to manage your entire WordPress operation from one dashboard.
You will also find deep-dive articles for WordPress design and development.
WPMUDEV's newsletter, The Whip, is a must-have subscription in my opinion.

WPBeginner
The WPBeginner parent company - Awesome Motive - is one of the juggernauts in WordPress…
A ‘fast mover’.
I’ve heard before that AM has approx 40-something products/businesses under its umbrella.
Yet, WPBeginner is just one horse in the AM stable and the one I'm talking about here.
WPBeginner consistently publishes useful WordPress content across its channels.
Be it articles, newsletters, or YouTube videos, WPBeginner is sharing good WordPress knowledge.

Business Bloomer
I'm no expert by any means, but I've yet to find a better resource for WooCommerce-focused content.
Business Bloomer is a goldmine of useful articles, sharing anything from small one-liners to more complex WooCommerce customizations using PHP.
I appreciate the fact that each article (mostly) focuses on one specific task/goal for one specific page or section.
Do yourself a huge favor and bookmark this site.
Seriously, this is your one-stop shop for WooCommerce knowledge.

Long Lost Favorite: WPShout
Before my curiosity even blossomed for WordPress - from a development standpoint - I was reading WPShout newsletters. They always covered the part of WordPress (or mainly programming) I was interested in most: PHP.
WPShout had some of the best articles on PHP-specific WordPress.
Sadly, to my knowledge, WPShout is no more.
I'm not sure when the last time any new content was published on the website and I haven't seen any emails or newsletters in a long while either.
For now, there are still some great articles up on the WPShout site and I definitely think you should visit them.
