Collecting images (or really any kind of file) is pretty much table stakes in designing applications.
I do like to store some files - namely PDF and KML files - in the actual MySQL database table in a BLOB
column.
However, you can upload the file to a storage location on the server and store its path location in the database table.

Both the implode()
and explode()
built-in PHP string and array functions are some of the most used and are well covered and explained in this article.
Where explode()
creates an array of elements from a string, implode()
which is much the opposite of, creates a string from an array()
of elements.
Both functions can receive an optional separator parameter in the function call as well.
