WHAT IS SQL DATABASE REFERENTIAL INTEGRITY?
(jetsweekly.com)
#sql
To normalize data in the normal forms, data is split out into separate/appropriate tables. Keeping that data aligned between the (often) many tables is taken care of by SQL referential integrity.
If we want to later pull the related data back together correctly (in a JOIN
), we need to utilize PRIMARY KEY

Even more so than bad application code, a non-performant database will bring the application to a crawl.
Enter Releem.
With Releem, you can analyze MySQL performance metrics and apply recommended configuration settings for a more performant database.
