While I don’t always necessarily understand the ‘why’ behind some of the WooCommerce requests I see in Facebook groups, I still take the opportunity to research a solution and learn something new. In this article, we will see how to append a product’s SKU (if it has one) to the Product title. This is how I imagined the best way to display the product SKU beside the Product title. However, I’m always open to suggestions…

MySQL Backup Tool You Have Never Heard About
One of the common backup tools for MySQL, mysqldump
, may be enough of a solution for certain applications. However, just like anything that is the 'default' (so to speak), there can be shortcomings. While there are surely other options, Percona XtraBackup is a popular choice too with features that extend beyond mysqldump
capabilities.
WooCommerce: Add New Tab @ Single Product Page
The more WooCommerce customizations I learn, the more amazed I am at just how much you can accomplish with PHP and this powerful WordPress e-Commerce plugin. Need extra information displayed about your product in its own tab? This post from the knowledgeable Business Bloomer website have you covered.

Things that don’t work well with MySQL’s FOREIGN KEY implementation
I'm of the camp that I use MySQL FOREIGN KEYS
to enforce referential integrity between a parent and child table. Most of my web application development work utilizes this relational 'staple'. However, I've learned (and you will also), that there are some underlying problems with the FOREIGN KEY
implementation.
CodeWP: Revolutionizing Web Development with AI-Powered WordPress Solutions
I'm still in the toe-dipping phase with AI. While I think it can be useful, AI is only as smart as its training model, right? Now, AI specifically for WordPress? You've got my attention. This article by WP Mayor is a solid deep dive into CodeWP covering pros, cons, pricing, and everything in between.
7 Ways to Fix the WordPress Internal Server Error 500
If you've been web programming for any time, surely you have encountered the dreaded Server Error 500, right? The most cryptic, 'wide-open' non-informational error message ever (and aggravating). Here are some fixes you can try on your WordPress website if you're facing the elusive error 500.
On a side note: I sure am glad to see the WP Shout website producing content again.
Who are the people still using PHP?
About 40% of the web at this point. Lol.
PHP is found on pretty much any hosting provider's platforms you come across and is the foundational language for some of the most robust web application frameworks and CMSs out there. With the likes of Laravel, Symfony, Drupal, WordPress, and CodeIgniter, PHP makes its 'staying case' well-known and firmly founded.
Build in-browser WordPress experiences with WordPress Playground and WebAssembly
Kudos to the folks (everywhere) making it easier and easier to 'WordPress' these days. Now there is really no excuse. If you don't want to wrestle with standing up a site/server install, then this is your chance to get into and explore WordPress. All in your browser.
Distributed SQL, an API-driven approach to Geospatial data, and a whole lot more.
Sounds like a winning combination to me. MariaDB is steadily getting its hooks in the market. I'm absolutely on board with improving anything SQL. MariaDB has been at it continuously and doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon.
