I honestly use and like both ORMs and raw SQL. I think the key is not being afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into - and use - the one that makes the most sense for the particular need. For simple CRUD operations, lean on the ORM. Need some in-depth reporting and grouping metrics? Write raw SQL.

WooCommerce 7.7.1 Fix Release (May 30th, 2023)
Only really 2 fixes are covered in this WooCommerce Fix Release. One on template changes and the other for block-based mini-cart blocks.
This has to be the biggest news in tech (in my opinion) in the last few weeks. The world's most popular open-source CMS has created jobs, ecosystems, and lifestyles for countless individuals. With some stats claiming over 1/3 of the web is running on WordPress, it’s longevity at this point cannot be denied. Here's to the next 20.
