Best practices for the use of the “cart fragments” API
As of WooCommerce 7.8, the cart fragments script, which updates the cart widget after an add-to-cart event, does not run on page routes anymore by default. Now the script will only run if the Cart Widget is rendered in a view. Get into all the details here.

Update or migrate? Planning for MySQL 5.7 EOL
It's hard to believe that MySQL version 5.7 will soon reach End Of Life (EOL) in October 2023. This release has been around for what seems like forever and is an integral component of many LAMP stack applications. Now is a great time to update to MySQL v8 as it is one powerful and feature-rich release.
ImageX Compare CKEditor 4 & CKEditor 5
For starters, if you're creating content online in any CMS, you're going to need a content editor tool. I mean part of creating is writing and publishing. Reusable Blocks Renamed to Patterns with Synced and Non-Synced Options
In my opinion, WordPress reusable blocks are one of the handiest features since we started working with the block editor. I use them by the masses on the Digital Owl’s Prose developer blog. But, it seems like what was once Reusable Blocks have been renamed to Patterns. Learn how to create one here, and edit an existing pattern-with-sync in this piece.
Introducing Woo Express: A New Way to Start a Store with WooCommerce
Quoted from the article:
"Woo Express is a subscription option for WooCommerce that allows you to start working on your store immediately, comes bundled with a set of essential extensions, and is powered by WordPress.com."
This is great for WooCommerce. Making it easier to get a store up and going. Almost like the Shopification of WooCommerce.
Almost.
