I had no idea that so many open-source projects are maintained by solo developers.
It makes me appreciate their hard work even more.
A new PHP filter flag to throw exceptions on validation failure
PHP 8.5 is projected for release in November 2025.
One of the more interesting and useful features covered in this article is the FILTER_THROW_ON_FAILURE filter flag.
When using this flag, a filter can throw an exception directly instead of returning NULL or FALSE.

I have no direct experience with Laravel and have never used it to build a web application.
But what I can say from experience is that just because you can be crafty and complex with code, it doesn't mean you should.
Your 2-day/2-week/2-month self will thank you 😆.

High-Risk SQLi Flaw Exposes WordPress Memberships Plugin Users
(Dated September 1st, 2025.)
SQL Injection (SQLi) is a serious, top security threat to SQL databases.
Based on my understanding of this case, user-provided data is directly inserted into the database without proper validation and handling.
